I am a Ph.D. level clinical psychologist with specialized training in cognitive-behaviour therapy for a wide variety of issues. I am a registered clinical psychologist with the College of Psychologists of Ontario (#4727), and I am certified in cognitive behaviour therapy by the Canadian Association of Cognitive and Behavioural Therapies (CACBT-ACTCC). I have additional training in mindfulness and acceptance-based treatment approaches.
I completed my Ph.D. in clinical psychology at the University of Waterloo in 2008, after graduating summa cum laude from McMaster University. I have also received specialized training in CBT at the Anxiety Treatment and Research Centre in Hamilton, Ontario. For the past decade I provided psychological services at Archways Centre for CBT. I have worked previously as a school psychologist with the Thames Valley District School Board and as a clinical psychologist with the Child and Parent Resource Institute.
In addition to my clinical work, I have published peer-reviewed research articles and book chapters in the areas of bipolar disorder, depressive personality disorder, narcissistic personality disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and social anxiety disorder.
